The Indigitous #HACK is a community event intended for learning, collaboration and engagement for Christians from all around the world. The champions, participants, volunteers, organizers, partners and judges must conform to the #HACK Code of Conduct:
- We honor others.
Regardless of our background and domain expertise, always remember that we are one body in Christ. Display respect before, during, and after the event. (1 Peter 2:17)
- We are transparent and demonstrate accountability
Especially when raising funds or handling finances of any kind. (Colossians 3:9)
- We use the #HACK brand with integrity.
The intent and purpose of the #HACK brand is for innovation for the Gospel, not for any other purposes. (Proverbs 10:9)
- We are honest about our intentions with others.
We encourage you to be open, transparent, and vulnerable with other participants. As brothers and sisters in Christ it is good to have an avenue to share each other’s knowledge and experience. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
- We are open minded.
#HACK is a safe place for anyone to share their ideas. Everyone should welcome any form of ideas that promote the overall goal of #HACK. (Exodus 35:35)
- We do everything with excellence for God’s glory.
Everything we do at #HACK is from and for God and to make Him known to the world. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
- We live out the fruits of the Spirit.
As followers of Jesus with the Holy Spirit living in us, we demonstrate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23)
- We avoid any appearance of evil.
Not only do we flee from that which is evil, we flee from that which appears to be evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:22)
- We have fun and collaborate with others in the faith.
(Ecclesiastes 3:13)
