#HACK is the largest global hackathon for missions. Since 2016, #HACK has brought together participants from around the world in the tech, creative, and adjacent industries to solve problems facing their communities and bring the gospel where it needs to go. For more information visit https://hack.indigitous.org/.
Whether it’s five people in a living room or 400 in a conference hall, every #HACK counts—and so can yours. It can be hosted quite simply or as a large-scale event. With that in mind, the areas of responsibility will take more commitment and effort the larger you choose your event to be, while events of smaller size will take less effort and time to coordinate. The size and scale of your event is completely up to you, and we’ll walk with you each step of the way.
What You’ll Do as a #HACK Champion:
Plan and coordinate a #HACK local (or virtual) event for participants, including:
- Coordinating with the #HACK Global Team to set up key tools like registration forms, Zoom links, and more.
- Building a local team to help you plan and run the event.
- Planning a venue, program, date/time, choice of challenge and #HACK type.
- Inviting participants and keeping them informed throughout the journey.
- Recruiting and connecting participants with mentors who can give guidance on their projects.
